Bat Boy Leo

3D creature design assessment. Created with Maya, textured with substance painter and rendered using Arnold. 

I knew I was going to create Leo as a bat x dog hybrid. I wanted to recreate a memory of my dog Leo.  Jumping through grass fields at our bush.   Along with his bat wings and long tail, I added glowing butter flies, fog and lights to give the image drama and atmosphere.
